Adding framebuffer contents to trace offline

Greetings,

I have a fairly large PVR Trace (1300 frames). Examining this trace in PVRTrace is a pain because rendering the later frames takes a very very long time (10 minutes for one frame). I do not record framebuffer contents because it slows down the application.

Is there a tool that allows me to add the frames/framebuffer contents to the trace after the recording so I can do other stuff in the meantime and get a trace that I can browse without delay afterwards?

Hi,

Unfortunately, I don’t think such a functionality exists in PVRTrace at this point.

On the other hand, sounds like PVRCarbon should be able to take on this job. Have you tried it?
