# Error: InitView() failed with pvr error ‘Error while initializing’

Hii

**Specifications:—**

**Hardware Platform** : Renesas r-car H3e  
**GPU Device** : PowerVR Series6XT, GX6650  
**Operating System** : Linux h3ulcb 5.10.41-yocto-standard  
**Supported Display** : Wayland display

I ran Vulkan of NativeSDK which is provided by PowerVR in this Linux h3ulcb 5.10.41-yocto-standard  
Operating system but I found some error.

**Error:**  
Exit message set to: InitView threw a runtime exception with message: ‘[VK\_ERROR\_INCOMPATIBLE\_DRIVER] : Instance Constructor’  
InitView() failed with pvr error ‘Error while initializing’

InitView threw a runtime exception with message: ‘[VK\_ERROR\_INCOMPATIBLE\_DRIVER] : Instance Constructor

Hi Sumit,

Please verify whether Vulkan is supported on your device, this error looks like your device might not have support for Vulkan API.

Hi Sumit,

3D APIs support on your device is provided by the manufactuter, in this case Renesas. I recommend you get in touch with them so you can verify whether the curent device and system setup you have support the Vulkan API.
