# When will Imagination release a PowerVR SDK for a specific platform or API?

When will Imagination release a PowerVR SDK for a specific platform or API?

We release new versions of the SDK twice a year - in the spring and late summer. SDKs for new devices and APIs are released as the platforms and support for development becomes available from device manufacturers. This means that the release date for some devices/APIs (e.g. OpenCL) are out of our control so we can’t state a specific date for them.
