Error when compiling the first example in the beginners section.

The code compiles without errors, however when I run it, it gives the following errors:

libEGL warning: failed to create a pipe screen for vboxvideo

libEGL fatal: DRI2: did not find extension DRI_DRI2 version 2



I am using UBUNTU 14.04 LTS, 64Bit on Virtual Box V4.3.18. Under Windows 7 64-bit OS:

Our PVRVFrame OpenGL ES emulation has a dependency on desktop OpenGL to accelerate rendering. We only officially support emulation on host Windows, OS X and Linux machines. Mileage may vary when using guest OSs in virtual machines.
