GPU Load in PvrTuneDeveloper

I see one parameter in PvrTuneDeveloper called “GPU memory interface load”. Is GPU load & GPU memory interface load same ?

If not, how to measure GPU load using pvrtune application?


GPU memory interface load shows the memory statistics i.e. the total utilisation of the GPU memory bus, for both read and write memory operations over the GPU memory interface within the current period. For GPU load, if you are referring to the actual utilisation of the total shader processor i.e. when it is processing vertices, pixels, or compute, you can refer to their respective counters under Shader counter group viz. Shader processing load : vertex/pixel/compute which are available in the complete version of the tool. If you don’t have access to the PVRTuneComplete kindly write to requesting the same.
