PVRPerfServer Coredump on QNX 710

Hi Alejandro,

Is there any update on this issue?
Can you provide us a earlier viersion of PVRPerfServer, probably a version released in 2022. I’ll see if it works or not.

Thanks!

Patrick

Hi patrick,

Unfortunately there is still no progress regarding the issue you reported. I will notify you as soon as there are any news.

There is a Previous Releases section in our Developer Portal Downloads section where you can access the PVRTune releases from the last six previous releases: Previous Releases - Imagination Developers

Best regards,
Alejandro

Hi Alejandro,

I have tried previous releases, but all ended up to a coredump.
Can you please escalate the case since it is a critical block for us to optimize our system.

Thanks!
BR,

Patrick

Hi patrick,

The Tools Team looked into your issue several times in the last weeks but as mentioned in a previous message there is still not progress unfortunately.

I suggest you send an email to our Support Portal devtech.portal@imgtec.com where we can discuss privately a couple of options.

Best regards,
Alejandro

Hi Patrick,

We had some conversations with QNX where they took a look at this ticket. They believe the issue you are experiencing might be related with something missing in the QNX environment.

QNX suggested that you get in touch with them please by opening a standard ticket support where you will be guided to debug the cause of the issue.

Best regards,
Alejandro

Hi Patrick,

The Tools Team has prepared a new variant of PVRTuneDeveloper and PVRTuneComplete which fixes a PVRPerfServer crash on QNX v7.1 due to some versions of QNX v7.1 using a new networking library, io-sock (as opposed to the current network library, io-pkg).

I am not sure whether the issue you were experiencing was the same, but I am happy to provide the new variant binaries in case they also work for you. If you are interested, please email our Internal Support Portal ( devtech.portal@imgtec.com ) where I will provide details on how to get the new binaries.

Best regards,
Alejandro
