Hi, my name is Newbie. Please help me.
I downloaded the PVRGeoPOD tool. I was hoping to install it to my MAYA 8.5 running on MAC OS X…
Yes, MAC OS X. I know the documentation says it’s for WINDOWS or LINUX. Has anybody out there been able to successfully convert the LINUX ‘.so’ plugin to the OS X ‘.bundle’ plug-in format???
It’s important to note that I’ve already tried the following methods:
- Using the Plug-in Manager to Browse for the .so plugin = FAIL
- Renaming the .so file as a .bundle file = EPIC FAIL
Please help me if possible. Thank you all.

Hi,
As far as I know it isn't possible to use the Linux version of PVRGeoPOD with a Mac version of Maya.
Thanks,
Scott
thanks scott. yea it’s really unfortunate. maya recognizes the .so as a plugin, but wont add it. so I have given up.
so now, I have to export to collada before using collada2pod to convert it to pod.
nevertheless, thanks anyway!
