libPVRTexLib.a for iOS?

I was wondering if it was possible to get a version of libPVRTexLib that is linkable on an armv6/armv7 processor?

I am not able to pre-compress all textures that are being loaded into my iPhone app and being able to compress them on the fly in a background thread would be extremely helpful. Are there any plans for compiling the source down to something we can use on iOS? If not, are there any plans on making the source available? I’d be happy to create an iOS library for someone there to take over…

Your request is noted and we may consider this for a future release, but right now we don’t release the source for our utilities as a rule and I don’t believe there are any plans to create such a library at this time.
