for many examples for android build,
I used ndk v 8
sdk_3.0examplesbeginner7_introducingPODbuildAndroidndk-build
I got the bunch of error like messages like…
process_begin:CreateProcess<NULL, uname, …> failed.
simple examples which don’t use the shell tool are well compiled with ndk-build
are you using this in windows OS probably using cygwin ?
for NDK-BUILD android with cygwin we need make 3.81 downloaded from here
