Hi!
I recently read about changes to the iPhoneOS 4 SDK agreement ( http://www.macrumors.com/2010/04/08/apple-blocks-adobes-flash-to-iphone-compiler-in-latest-sdk-agreement/ ).
Quote: "Applications that link to Documented APIs through an intermediary translation or compatibility layer or tool are prohibited."
Does this affect the PowerVR SDK? (Since it is a “compatibility layer”.)
The POWERVR SDK is a collection of source code that does some of the calls into the Cocoa APIs and OpenGL for you. Whatever you add to it afterwards and the main body of code in the example demos, for instance, will interact directly with the iPhone platform. I don’t believe this constitutes enough of a layer to be a problem and we’ve certainly not been told that this will be an issue.
