Hi
How to capture a new PVRCarbon recording for a ‘web app’ specifically.
I want to track OpenGL API calls from a ‘web app’.
Currently I have created a ‘pvrcarbon.json’ file in the path of the web-app.
But after launching the web-app, I do not see any option for online connection in the PVRCarbon GUI. And in case of offline recording, I do not see any ‘.pvrcbn’ file being generated.
Same method if applied for a native app, I am able to capture a PVRCarbon recording.
Please suggest methods to resolve this.
Best regards

Hi onlineAV,
I will look into your issue and come back as soon as I have more information.

Hi onlineAV,
Could you please try launching the web browser when taking a PVRCarbon recording and specifying the URL as argument?
You might need to select as entry point “com.android.chrome/com.google.android.apps.chrome.Main”
If this still fails, please provide the information below so I can try to reproduce the issue:
- URL with the WebGL application.
- Browser name and version.
- Device model you are using to take a recording.
- Driver information (Aida64 → Display → GPU Version → information in this field, should be in the format “OpenGL ES 3.2 build x.y@number”).
Best regards,
Alejandro
