The Intel Atom Cedar Trail N2800 processor (GMA 3650@640MHz) incorporates the PowerVR SGX545 GMA. Is there stil no 64-bit driver for the PowerVR SGX545 so an x64 operating system can be used with the N2800?

Hi cyberbiker,
I’m afraid we cannot directly support drivers for specific customer
platforms. For 64-bit drivers you
should contact Intel directly to see if they can provide suitable driver
binaries.
Thanks,
Tobias

Still, the SGX545, being almost 3 years old, is starting to be an “old” IP.
Intel gave up the development of 64-bit drivers for this GPU (even tough it is packaged with 64-bit enabled Atoms ?!? Where’s the logic behind this decision ?).
If neither you nor Intel are willing to provides 64 bit drivers, couldn’t you at least agree with Intel to release the specifications of the GPU, so that third-party drivers (be it open-source or commercial) may be developed ?
