Issue with PowerVR Active Power Management

Hi,



We ported the PowerVR to TI platform. We ported the driver successfully and we are getting good performance with all demo but the problem with Qt apps. While we are trying to run Qt apps we are getting issue with Active Power Management and also we identified the problem it’s due to master clock gating while powering down the SGX by micro kernel. It’s happening only for Qt other working fine.



If we disable APM Qt also running with good frame rate but that’s not a solution. Anybody know reason for it please help me.

Hi Naresh,



I’m afraid this forum is only for Application level support, not driver level. In the case of something like this you should contact the platform vendor. If it turns out to be a problem in our reference driver that they’re using, then it’s their job to contact us about the issue via our customer ticketing system.
