AXM-8-256 mesa support?

Hello there,

I saw that mesa already supports IMG AXE-1-16, how hard it will be to add support for IMG AXM-8-256, considering that both are A-Series?

IMG AXM-8-256 is used by SiFive P550 which make it quite important to have it in mesa.

Is there any documentation for this GPU available?

The SiFive P550 claim is 100% understandable. Unfortunately each core requires some work at driver level and is not a straightforward process. Please stay updated for new cores added to the Mesa driver.

If Imagination doesn’t have time to publish the drivers to mesa, please publish the docs and someone will do the work for you.
The internet says that it’s similar to AXE-1-16M, if it’s right then with documentation it shouldn’t be too hard to adapt the existing AXE-1-16M driver.
