Our GPU should provide support for hardware Cursor under an Ubuntu 22.04 Wayland Environment.
Do you have any GPU driver installed in your development platform at the moment? Please take a look at PVRPerfServerDeveloper does not detect GPU on Synaptics Astra SoC - #4 by AlejandroC to know more details.
