Question about POD file mesh instancing

Hello world.





I am using Collada2POD. When I convert a collada file, the output did show “Instancing mesh”, but when I read the .pod file I don’t get instancing, I still get the original number of meshes. Am I misunderstanding something?

Ok, so I found the answer myself. From coordinate system if you choose “World Space”, then identical meshes will not get instanced, only choose “Model Space” will do instancing. Seems pretty obvious but I just ignored that.
